We all have questions! Below are the most frequent questions I receive and the answers to them!

Are your cookies allergy friendly?

  • I do NOT sell cookies made with tree nuts or peanuts. However, my home kitchen DOES contain various tree nuts and peanuts. My cookies contain wheat, dairy, and eggs. Some of the sprinkles used contain soy.

How far in advance should I inquire about an order or class?

  • Ideally, 1 month in advance is sufficient. However, during busy times of the year, I book up quickly. So feel free to plan far in advance! That being said, sometimes I can squeeze in an order last minute, so it never hurts to ask!

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • At this time, Cookies By Jemmie accepts Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and Cashapp.

Can I freeze decorated cookies?

Yes, you can! Here is how to freeze & thaw royal icing cookies:

  1. Place your heat-sealed cookies in an air-tight container into the freezer. They can stay up to 2 months.
  2. To thaw cookies, remove the container from the freezer BUT DO NOT OPEN.
  3. Keep the closed container on the counter for a few hours until the cookies come to room temperature.
  4. Once the cookies are room temperature, you can safely open the container and enjoy your cookies!

Do you ship your cookies?

  • In accordance with New York State Home Processor Rules, Cookies By Jemmie is only allowed to ship cookies within New York State.

Is my deposit /payment refundable?

  • Your deposit is refundable up to *2 weeks* before your order/class is due (this date will be on your invoice). Once your balance is paid at the 2 week mark, your payment is not refundable, as I have begun purchasing ingredients, needed cookie cutters and/or class supplies.
  • If your circumstances have changed, and you no longer need the cookies or have to cancel your class, you can:
  1. Freeze your cookies once they are picked up
  2. Reschedule your cookie order/class
  3. Allocate money paid towards attendance in upcoming cookie classes

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied with my order?

  • I strive to make every customer 100% happy. If you are not fully pleased with your order, please reach out to right away so I may be given a chance to rectify any issues. Refunds are not given unless cookies are returned (the amount of refund will be based on the number of cookies returned).
